Christmas 2014: The Gingerbread Ornament Shop
The second kit in the 1/4 scale Gingerbread Christmas Village series.
It’s a scene found in many European countries at Christmastime; illuminated shop windows hung with shimmering ornaments. The ethereal clusters of fragile glass balls make passers-by stop and reflect on the beautiful traditions of the holidays.
Inspired by these European scenes, we’ve created the quarter scale Gingerbread Ornament Shop to bring a bit of tradition to your Gingerbread Village. Like Christmas shops in Europe, the shop showcases glistening ornaments hung from illuminated windows. Display cases in the windows beckon shoppers inside, where a festive tree is adorned with more tiny ornaments for customers to choose from. Outside, a Christmas tree lot adds to the charm of the holiday scene.
The Gingerbread Ornament Shop Kit contains the shop structure, tree lot structure, peel and stick wallpaper and rug, icing, and icing templates. The instructions include new tips and techniques for perfect icing results!
Size: 6-1/4"w x 2-7/8"d x 3-3/4"t.
The Gingerbread Ornament Shop - Interior Kit contains the furniture, oodles of ornaments and decorations, and Christmas trees for the shop and tree lot.
An LED Lighting Kit is available to power the lights in the sparkling window displays and to give a green glow to the tree-shape cutouts in the attic. The attic includes a special holder for hiding the battery and switch.
